About Penny

I’m an occupational therapist with more than 30 years’ experience, much of it in community mental health.

In recent years, I’ve developed a particular interest in supporting people living with ME/CFS and related complex health conditions, particularly where physical health and mental health needs overlap.

Experience and approach

I’ve worked as a case manager in multidisciplinary community mental health teams in regional and metropolitan settings.

I was born in Geraldton and continue to travel there regularly. I understand the complexities of accessing healthcare in regional and remote areas.

I’m particularly passionate about supporting people living with ME/CFS and related conditions, a community whose experiences are still too often misunderstood.

I value listening closely to lived experience and developing a genuine understanding of each person’s needs, and I aim to contribute to positive change by adapting my approach in ways that are respectful, flexible and genuinely useful.

How I work

I work from a home-based practice, providing services in people’s homes and via Telehealth.

I offer flexible appointment times where possible and can sometimes accommodate evenings and weekends with notice.

I travel to Geraldton approximately monthly for work.

If you’d like to discuss whether my approach might be a good fit for you, please get in touch.
